| The Yoga Theatre Lab is proud to announce a special screening of a new THE THING ITSELF - a film by Mallie Boman Visionary poet, George Bruce was 92 years old when he met with Mallie Boman at his Edinburgh home to discuss his life and work shortly before his death. The feature documentary that followed takes us through Scotland, England, Canada and USA to trace the poetry and the poet. George Bruce's poetry will move your heart and soul. His lively, engaging, exclusive, on-camera interviews will give you remarkable insight into the cyclical journey of the poet, the father, the man - George Bruce. Mallie Boman is in town briefly as an industry delegate to the Toronto Film Festival. While here, she has offered to screen a rough cut of her film in progress at ICYAS. Here is a wonderful opportunity to view a film before it is completed, offer the creator direct feedback, and participate in a Q & A session about the film, George Bruce and Mallie's work.
